A global consultancy is looking for a Power BI Platform Engineer to enhance its Data Management Services team in Spain. This role involves developing and maintaining a robust Power BI Gateway platform across multi-cloud environments, collaborating with various technical teams, and supporting data engineers. The ideal candidate will have a degree, over three years of relevant experience, and strong skills in Azure and automation tools.

Formación

Responsabilidades

You will join the Data Management Services team within the Data & AI Services department, helping build and operate a secure, reliable, and scalable Power BI Gateway infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments.

Empower Data-Driven Decisions at Scale

We are looking for a medior or senior Power BI Platform Engineer to join our Data Management Services team within the Data & AI Services domain. You will be instrumental in shaping, operating, and scaling the Power BI Gateway infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with other platform engineers, data engineers, and DevOps experts to automate, monitor, and continuously improve platform performance and integration.

Operate and evolve the Power BI Gateway platform across multi-cloud and on-premise setups.

Support & Enablement : Provide support to data engineers and other technical users to unlock the full potential of Power BI for data products and dashboards.

Drive platform reliability through change / configuration / lifecycle management and resolve complex incidents.

Automation & CI / CD : Design and implement automation via CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and scripting to improve efficiency.

Integration : Set up and manage Power BI Gateway data connections and integrations across platforms.

A bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent thinking level).

At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or change / project work.

Solid experience with Azure Cloud , Azure DevOps , and infrastructure tools.

Understanding of Data Management and Data Engineering concepts.

Working experience in Agile (Scrum) environments.

Experience with Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI , REST APIs, or Terraform .

Familiarity with Power BI internals , report governance, or enterprise BI tools.

Exposure to AWS cloud services and hybrid architecture models.
