Sanoma Learning’s NPM train is on the lookout for an experienced Automation Tester to join our vibrant, international team. We’re a group of enthusiastic, friendly, and talented individuals dedicated to revolutionizing primary education. As an Automation Tester, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our platform for primary education, used by tens of thousands of teachers and students. You will contribute to innovative solutions that meet the needs of educators and learners alike.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Automation Tester, you’ll focus mostly on test automation (80%) with some manual testing (20%). Your key tasks will include:

1. Create and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Develop and maintain automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
2. Framework Development: Design and implement automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.
3. Develop Test Strategies: Collaborate with the QA team and stakeholders to define the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.
4. Execute Test Scripts: Run automated test scripts on different environments and platforms, ensuring that the software behaves as expected across all scenarios.
5. Integrate Tests with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback on code changes.

Requirements

Must-have requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Java: 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium: 2+ years of experience.
• Appium (Android, iOS native app automation): 2+ years of experience.
• Git: good knowledge.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Bitbucket: basic knowledge.
• Maven: good knowledge.
• Spring: basic knowledge.
• TestRail or similar: basic knowledge.
• Postman/RestAssured: good knowledge.
• Relational database: basic knowledge.
• Performance testing: experience with JMeter/Gatling.
• AWS: basic knowledge.
• English proficiency: B2/C1 (both written and spoken communication).
• Spanish proficiency: B1/B2 (both written and spoken communication).
