Job summary

ConSol Partners leads the search for an experienced Automation Tester to join a leading global banking organisation in Spain. You will automate regression and functional tests for React and Java applications, develop test plans, and perform performance testing.

Collaboration with developers and stakeholders to fix defects is essential. The role requires 11+ years in testing, Java automation (Selenium, Wiremock, RestAssured), Oracle DB knowledge, and experience with CI tools like Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 11+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and defect lifecycle management.
• Java automation (Selenium, Wiremock, RestAssured).
• Database knowledge (Oracle).
• Experience testing modern web app stacks (React frontend, API testing).
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Java, React testing libraries, and REST API testing.
• Familiarity with database versioning and migration tools (Liquibase).
• Experience with Jira and XRay.

Responsibilities

• Automate regression and functional testing for React and Java-based applications.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, track and resolve defects.
• Maintain and enhance the test suite to cover new and evolving features.
