Job summary

UST is seeking a senior automation engineer with deep experience in BDD, Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin. The candidate will own automation across core banking modules, including Temenos T24/Transact, and integrate tests with Xray, Jira, Jenkins and GitLab.

Strong Java skills, banking domain knowledge, and ISTQB/Selenium certifications are essential. The role is based in Madrid with hybrid work: 3 days in the office, 2 remote days, and a focus on long-term regression stability and test automation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BDD and automated testing using Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Sound knowledge of Xray and Jira and their integration into an automated testing framework.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD automation.
• Strong Java development skills and advanced Java concepts.
• Experience in banking domain and Temenos T24/Transact is strongly preferred.
• ISTQB foundation and Selenium certifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for banking applications.
• Develop automated tests that navigate Temenos T24 screens and validate outputs across modules.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to drive regression testing and release readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and CI/CD integration.
