Job summary

You will design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks for cloud-native Java microservices and APIs, collaborating with backend, DevOps and security teams to ensure fast, reliable test coverage.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Java development or a closely related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience building automated test frameworks or test suites.
• Strong experience with API testing and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• A curious, adaptable and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation frameworks for Java/Spring microservices.
• Build automated API, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Automate testing of REST and OpenAPI services, including API validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation running in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to security testing, including API security and vulnerability testing.
• Support automated validation of security-critical workflows.
• Apply TDD, BDD and other modern testing practices.
• Improve test coverage, reliability and feedback speed across the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to test reporting, logging and observability.
• Work closely with backend developers, DevOps, QA and security teams.
• Take ownership of automation initiatives and continuously improve testing strategies.
