Job Description

To support Nexthink Accelerate Services, we are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer who will work closely with our delivery consultants to perform feasibility studies and design automation solutions to address customers’ infrastructure and system issues.

The main responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and evaluating requirements by understanding all interacting parameters affecting the system.
• Designing, developing, and testing scripts/automation modules for production systems using PowerShell and Bash.
• Creating and maintaining workflows and script documentation.
• Integrating PowerShell and Bash scripts with multiple systems using APIs.
• Maintaining, improving, and adding new features to legacy code.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of development experience.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell supporting large Windows environments.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting in MacOS environments.
• Experience with APIs and webhooks is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Python scripting.
• Experience with development tools such as Git.
• Ability to interface with applications like ServiceNow and other IT tools.
• Experience developing PowerShell for Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Office Administration, and Azure Active Directory.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies independently.
