Senior Automation Engineer

Are you passionate about automation and eager to contribute to the future of data centres across Europe? I am seeking a skilled Schneider PLC Engineer to design, programme, and commission advanced automation systems. Location: Seville (Data Centre Projects)

Salary: €50,000 - €60,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. PLC Programming: Design, develop, and optimize Schneider Modicon PLC systems to meet project specifications.
2. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with SCADA, HMI, and other automation platforms.
3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-time, ensuring seamless production processes.
4. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, program logic, and user manuals.
5. Testing & Validation: Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and reliability.

Experience Required:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Schneider Modicon PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ladder logic, function block programming, and system integration.
4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
5. Certifications (Preferred): Schneider Electric certifications or equivalent are a plus.
