UST in Madrid is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to own Level 3 support for the Client Lifecycle Management system. You will focus on maintaining, optimizing the solution, handling incidents and problems, and ensuring high availability in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with application users, IT Service Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations while working in a Hybrid Madrid model (3 days in office, 2 remote).

Formación

• Proven experience in Level 3 application support within an agile organization.
• Strong understanding of database development concepts (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for troubleshooting.
• Banking knowledge in CRM, account opening, and compliance is must.
• Basic Java knowledge for application-level analysis; solid Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience in Release and Product Lifecycle Management.
• Familiarity with operating standard software and parameterization.

What we look for?

As a Senior Application Support Engineer for the bank's Client Lifecycle Management system, you will be the key expert for Level 3 application support, ensuring consistent and accurate service delivery. Your focus is on maintaining and optimizing the solution, managing incidents and problems, and ensuring operational readiness. You will work in an agile organization, supporting multi-tier applications and performing root cause analysis. This requires strong experience with database concepts (PL/SQL, SQL) for troubleshooting, as well as basic Java understanding and Linux/Unix administration skills for tasks such as navigating file systems, analyzing logs, and managing configurations. You will collaborate closely with application users, IT Service Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations and high availability.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in Level 3 application support within an agile organization
• Strong understanding of database development concepts (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for troubleshooting
• Banking knowledge in CRM, account opening, and compliance is must
• Basic Java knowledge for application-level analysisSolid Linux/Unix administration skills for operational tasks (logs, scripts, navigation)
