UST is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team in Madrid. You will drive the complete software lifecycle, delivering scalable backend services and modern frontend applications for the banking sector.

The role is hybrid in Madrid with 3 days at client site. You will mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and promote best practices while delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
3+ years of experience in Full Stack development.
Experience delivering solutions using TDD, BDD, and automated testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps principles.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and clean code principles.
Proven experience within banking or financial services environments.

Responsibilities

Own the full software delivery lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, release, and monitoring.
Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
Design and build scalable backend services and modern frontend applications.
Work alongside Solution Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Contribute to internal engineering communities, sharing knowledge and mentoring peers.
Drive quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.

Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team working on strategic initiatives within the banking sector. You will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Ventas area)
