Axpo Group in Madrid is seeking an experienced Application Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of business applications that support electricity generation and distribution. You will ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations while translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The role requires strong ITIL knowledge, hands-on experience in cloud and on-prem architectures, and excellent stakeholder management in a collaborative, international setting.

• Knowledge of IT service management processes such as ITIL.
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

What you will do:

What you bring & who you are:

• Experience in application management, IT operations, or software engineering
• Strong understanding of application architectures, including cloud, on-premises systems, integrations, and databases
• Knowledge of IT service management processes such as ITIL
• Analytical and solution-oriented way of working with strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders effectively
• Ideally, experience in the energy sector
• Being fluent in English is mandatory (C1 minimum) ; speaking Spanish or Germany is a plus.
