Department Description :

Within Atradius ITS, the Credit Insurance Service Delivery (CISD) manages applications and programs related to Credit Insurance in a BusDevOps manner. They design, implement, and operate application solutions based on demands from Product Owners in central or decentralized units.

Job Description :

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will leverage your technical skills to develop and validate solutions within the Atradius application ecosystem.

Application Engineers design, code, and automate testing of our solutions, aligning with our Architecture standards.

They work in Asset teams adopting a DevOps approach, collaborating with Product Owners, Asset Owners, Analysts, and Engineers to manage the lifecycle of Assets and their operation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Create and review feasible, cost-effective solution designs, and participate in development with partners.
2. Drive continuous improvement and automation of Assets, Processes, and team performance.
3. Ensure compliance of Application Assets with Quality Standards and Architecture.
4. Conduct technical knowledge sharing sessions across vendors and partners.
5. Perform impact analysis and reverse engineering when needed.
6. Maintain system consistency and adherence to Atradius architecture.
7. Advise on Asset or Process enhancements.
8. Engage in ongoing technical skill development.
9. Report progress, risks, and deviations accurately to management.

Required Qualifications :

• 3+ years as a Developer or Application Engineer.
• Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/JDBC, Git, Maven, and RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with testing and automation.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools (Elastic-ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and messaging platforms (Kafka, EMS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ).
• Strong moderation skills for technical sessions with non-technical stakeholders.
• High proficiency in English; Spanish skills are a plus.

Good to Have :

• Experience with legacy tools like Oracle PL/SQL, XML, Oracle Forms, and Middleware components.
• Knowledge of documentation methodologies (ERD, UML, User Stories).
• Familiarity with development tools like Sparx, Toad, Confluence, Jira.
• Ability to initiate and manage projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
