Job summary

NN Digital Hub, a NN Group subsidiary located in Madrid, is seeking a Senior API Designer to shape enterprise integration across international units. You will design scalable REST/SOAP services on Azure Platform, drive API governance, and contribute to architecture and platform decisions in a multinational insurance context.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in API design and development.
• Strong expertise in REST and SOAP web services.
• Proven experience with Azure PaaS services.
• Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with API Management platforms and API Governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to take ownership and make informed technical decisions.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring and supporting technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend service components integrated with Azure PaaS.
• Define API Governance standards and promote across the organization.
• Design and develop solutions within the API Platform and Mediation Layer initiatives.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP services.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure quality, security, observability, and reliability.
• Promote DevOps practices and cloud engineering standards.
