NN Digital Hub, a subsidiary of NN Group in Madrid, seeks a Senior API Designer to shape the API Platform and integration strategy across NN International. You will design and implement scalable REST and SOAP services on Azure, promote API governance, and drive reusable patterns that deliver business value.

This role transcends pure development, involving architectural decisions, cross-country collaboration, and mentoring.

Formación

• Extensive experience in API design and development.
• Strong expertise in REST and SOAP web services.
• Proven experience with Azure PaaS services.
• Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC concepts.
• Experience with API Management platforms and API Governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of integration architectures and mediation patterns.
• Experience implementing secure, resilient, and scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop backend service components integrated with Azure PaaS.
• Design and develop solutions within the API Platform and Mediation Layer initiatives of NN International.
• Define, implement, and promote API Governance standards across the organization.
• Design integration solutions leveraging APIs, Events, MCP, and modern integration patterns.
• Design robust, scalable, and reusable web service solutions considering both business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP services.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure quality, security, observability, and reliability throughout the application lifecycle.
• Promote DevOps best practices and cloud engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, platform teams, security teams, and external vendors.
