What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to join one of our leading clients.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of Angular and its ecosystem, capable of leading complex front-end development projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.
Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Angular applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Implement complex UI/UX designs and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Lead architectural discussions and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to team growth.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify and address bottlenecks.
- Implement strategies for improving application performance and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular trends and best practices.
What UST expects from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Angular.
- Proven experience in leading complex Angular projects.
- Experience with Angular CLI, TypeScript, and RxJS.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
- Familiarity with state management patterns (e.g., NgRx, Akita).
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Cypress).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Good English level (B2-C1) as you will be working with international teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive web apps (PWAs).
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Knowledge of other front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Capability to support QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis, and defect fixing.
- Strong knowledge in creating and working with APIs.
- Experience with Cloud services, specifically on Google Cloud.
- Strong exposure in Agile, Scaled Agile based development models.
- Familiar with Interfaces such as REST web services, swagger profiles, JSON payloads.
- Familiar with tools/utilities such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
Work location: 100% remote within Spain.
