We, at Flywire, are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics team and further scale our data driven company.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Data Engineering and Reporting to enable our end users to make the most of our data. You will handle data from all areas of the company and succeed through the following responsibilities:

1. Own, manage, and further our full dbt environment and related tooling
2. Manage efficient materializations of streaming data to balance efficiency and latency
3. Explore and implement additional tools to support the wider Analytics team
4. Productionalize complex logic and queries into “gold standard” datasets
5. Provide dbt support throughout the company
6. Optimize dbt models for efficiency, clarity, and scalability
7. Remove and reduce technical debt and automate manual operations
8. Treat data as a product and enforce testing and CI to catch errors early
9. Work with and support company-wide data science / AI initiatives
10. Become a subject matter expert to support all business segments
11. Work with engineering and product teams to understand and model our event data
12. Drive change by identifying areas for improvement while analyzing data

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

1. Bachelor Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
2. 5+ years of experience in an Analytics role
3. Strong proficiency in SQL
4. Strong proficiency with dbt
5. Experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
6. Experience with git and CI / CD deployments
7. Experience with Python and Docker
8. Experience with Elementary or Great Expectations is preferred
9. Ability to communicate and follow up with internal stakeholders in a timely manner and excellent attention to detail.
10. Experience with BI Tools (Looker or Preset) is a plus
