Allianz invites a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Data and AI Transformation Engineering team, building scalable backend platforms exposing AI capabilities as reliable services. Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering with Python and enterprise AI/ML deployment.
• Cloud AI services on Azure and AWS, plus Databricks (MLflow/Delta Lake).
• APIs design, distributed systems, asynchronous patterns, and messaging.
• Kubernetes deployments with Terraform; observability and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs with versioning.
• Define structured, validated response schemas for auditable outputs.
• Implement streaming responses (SSE / chunked HTTP) for real-time delivery.
• Implement OAuth 2.0/JWT/RBAC authentication and authorization.
• Enforce data controls at API layer for compliance.
• Build audit logging for regulatory traceability.
• Design background job patterns with asynchronous model inference.
• Integrate with queues (Azure Service Bus, SQS, Kafka) for orchestration.
• Implement polling and webhook mechanisms for non-blocking results.
• Structured logging capturing inputs, outputs, latency, model version.
• Integrate with Datadog, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch for full-stack visibility.
• Drift detection hooks for model outputs.
• Manage versioned model endpoints.
• Automated testing for non-deterministic outputs.
• Deploy containerised APIs on Kubernetes with health checks.
• Wrap Databricks Model Serving, Azure OpenAI behind internal contracts.
