Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking a Platform Engineer within Advanced Analytics to build and operate the cloud infrastructure underpinning AI-enabled solutions at global scale. You will own Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and observability, collaborating with Backend, ML, and Platform Architects to translate architecture into reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Deep Kubernetes and cloud expertise for AI workloads.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Bicep.
• Production Azure experience: AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Monitor.
• Strong Python automation skills.
• Experience with observability and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Kubernetes infrastructure (AKS) lifecycle.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Develop IaC with Terraform and Bicep for Azure resources.
• Operate container registries and image security workflows.
• Maintain observability with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Manage async processing with Celery and Redis.
• Implement platform security: network policies, Key Vault, RBAC.
• Support PostgreSQL with backup, tuning.
• Create self-service tooling and templates for dev teams.
• Troubleshoot across clusters, pipelines, cloud services.
• Collaborate with Platform/Backend/ML Engineers.
