Allianz Partners is seeking a Backend Engineer in Advanced Analytics (DA3) to join our central AI team and build reusable AI foundations and production-grade AI services on a global scale.

You will design, ship, and operate cloud-native systems with Docker/Kubernetes, Azure services, and CI/CD pipelines, working across ML engineers and DevOps to raise our standards.

This role emphasizes security, observability, and resilience in regulated environments while collaborating with global teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Monitor, APIM).
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Kafka and distributed architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
• Deliver cloud-native microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and gates.
• Integrate API exposure via gateway patterns and versioning (APIM).
• Establish observability with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across microservices, clusters, and pipelines.
• Embed security and resilience: secrets management and least privilege.
• Engineer for regulated environments with auditable changes.
• Collaborate with ML, Platform Engineers, AI Architects, and DevOps.
