Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, AI Product Manager in Barcelona to lead AI-powered product development and lifecycle management. You will align product vision with business goals, work with cross-functional teams, and drive data-driven decisions while considering ethics in AI deployment.

You'll have 5+ years in life sciences, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), excellent English, and strong stakeholder management to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Languages: Excellent English required (oral & written).
• Experience/Professional requirement: 5+ years in life science sector and desirable previous experience in a product management role.
• Strong stakeholder management, process design, and value realization capabilities.
• Experience supporting product strategy, development, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support product management of one or more products depending on scale and complexity
• Coordinate the development, launch, and continuous improvement of AI-powered products in collaboration with business owners and cross-functional teams
• Translate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives
• Manage the assigned product lifecycle, including MVP development, scaling, and continuous refinement through data-driven decision-making (technical, adoption and value metrics)
• Track product budget and resource allocation to maximize ROI and impact, while maintaining stakeholder engagement and prioritizing feature development
• Collaborate with DDIT and external parties to ensure seamless product delivery and transition to the maintenance phase
