Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Platforms team in Madrid. You will design and build next‑generation AI driven products, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, AI specialists, product owners and stakeholders to drive cloud‑native, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes hands‑on software engineering, code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices, while supporting career growth

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript and backend/full‑stack capabilities.
• Experience building React apps with Next.js.
• Backend development with Python or Node.js.
• Designing REST APIs and event‑driven systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack apps using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Python.
• Build AI‑powered products leveraging LLMs and cloud architectures.
• Create scalable APIs and backend services with integrations.
• Develop systems for conversational AI and agent workflows.
• Work with data platforms like BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
