Progress Partners, a remote-first technology company, is hiring a Senior AI Platform / DevTool Engineer to build reusable AI tooling, automation, and shared services that empower internal and external teams to ship faster with higher reliability and lower cost.

This platform role focuses on building RAG systems, AI-assisted workflows, and developer tools that turn scattered AI usage into a cohesive engineering capability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering or platform tooling.
• 2+ years building AI-powered tools or RAG solutions.
• Experience designing APIs, SDKs, or reusable services.
• Strong written communication; autonomous remote work.
• Ownership mindset for adoption, reliability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Build internal AI tools and workflow automation.
• Develop RAG-based knowledge systems for searchable docs.
• Create reusable AI-assisted SDLC workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate coding assistants and design-to-code tooling.
• Define secure, observable, cost-aware patterns and monitor usage.
