Formación

  • Degree in Life Sciences required; Ph.D. and nanomedicine knowledge preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role, ideally in biotechnology.

What you’ll do :

  • Develop and own the growth plan for your assigned territory selling the Nanomedicine, Cytiva line of instruments, consumables, and support services directly to life science segments such as biotech, biopharma, and academia.
  • Set up and execute the strategy for your territory, participating in growth initiatives.
  • Meet and / or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through the development and execution of a region and account-specific sales plan.
  • Successfully navigate and manage complex sales negotiations, engaging and managing a multi-step sales process for both capital instruments and consumables while liaising with stakeholders including C-suite.
  • Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in consultative sales processes. Deliver technology and applications overview presentations, often in tandem with your FAS, to articulate Nanomed, Cytiva value propositions based on the needs of the customer.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues by demonstrating a strong broad base of knowledge in business processes, Nanomed, Cytiva solutions, and domain expertise, besides liaising with internal stakeholders including, and not limited to Product management and operational teams.
  • Provide regular accurate sales forecasts, sales pipeline management activities, organize / maintain account and customer contact management in CRM system.

Who you are :

  • A degree in a Life Sciences discipline is required. A Ph.D. and strong nanomedicine knowledge or cell / molecular biology background is an asset.
  • Considered experience in a commercial role, preferably in the biotechnology industry; plus five years of experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and work directly with customers at all levels within the organization from Process Development scientist to C-Level.
  • Demonstrated aptitude towards the selling process and a proven team player.
  • You speak fluent English; Italian, Spanish, or French would be a plus.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

  • Demonstrated understanding of Nanomedicine applications and Bioprocess, filtration, and genomics Cytiva technologies.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities through successful execution.
  • Success in cross-functional collaboration.
