Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Barcelona to design scalable ML and Generative AI systems. You will collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to transform business processes and the client experience of ADP’s products and solutions.

Expect work on deep learning, NLP, LLMs, embeddings, and MLOps, deploying models on AWS, Databricks, and related tools. You will mentor teammates and contribute to robust ML architectures within a hybrid Spark team.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in relevant roles with ML/AI.
• Communication: advanced English language skills.
• Technical: strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks; experience deploying Generative AI solutions and LLMs; hands-on with AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker), Databricks, MLflow, and CI/CD; familiarity with vector/NoSQL databases and MLOps/LLMOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced ML solutions.
• Research and develop data products, ML models, and systems to optimise user experience.
• Deliver scalable, high‑quality AI models and systems with clear documentation.
• Provide mentorship to teammates and help others adapt to the team, environment, and resources.
