Merck Group in Spain seeks an AI Engineer to join the Data & AI Organization (MDAO). You will design and run analytics pipelines and agentic workflows, integrating LLMs, predictive models, and multi-agent frameworks to deliver scalable AI solutions across Finance, HR, Procurement, and more.

Collaborating with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists in agile PODs, you will enable consumption of AI outputs through APIs, dashboards, and embedded analytics, while embedding

Formación

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, analytics, or visualization within a global organization.
• Experience with Finance, HR, or Procurement data and core business processes.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Strong foundation in ML, statistics, predictive modeling, and NLP with LLM-powered applications.
• Familiarity with vector stores, reranking, and LLM observability tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith.
• Experience using agentic engineering tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode) in enterprise workflows.
• Experience with cloud/enterprise data platforms (AWS, Palantir Foundry, Snowflake) and data transformation frameworks (Spark, Polars, DuckDB, dbt).
• MLOps & DevOps experience (MLflow, CI/CD, Docker).
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.
