Longtail Technologies, Barcelona-based, is seeking a backend-focused engineer with 7+ years of experience to help evolve Sightline from beta to a scalable platform. You’ll own features end to end, design robust backend services, and contribute to frontend when required, delivering reliable, secure workflows for AI-powered analytics.

You’ll work in a distributed, fast-growing team that values clarity and ownership, with a competitive package including base, bonus, equity and benefits.

Formación

• 7+ years of backend/full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong API, database and SQL skills.
• Experience operating production systems and SaaS products.
• Ability to own features end to end and make pragmatic technical decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services, APIs, and customer-facing capabilities across Sightline.
• Own features end to end from customer problem through to production.
• Build reliable, asynchronous workflows with orchestration, error handling, and observability.
• Integrate with data, analytics, and AI model platforms.
• Design resilient systems and contribute to the React frontend when needed.
• Improve testing, observability, security, and performance across the platform.
