Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Senior AI Architect (AI Agentic) in Madrid, partially remote, to lead design of Generative and Agentic AI architectures across delivery teams.

You will act as a technical authority, shaping strategy, ensuring quality, security, and scalability, while guiding data scientists and engineers toward business value. This role offers a hybrid-friendly culture with a focus on impactful AI adoption and responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and delivering large-scale AI/ML architectures in complex enterprises.
• Proven ability to build and govern end-to-end AI systems, including production deployment.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML architectures, cloud-native solutions and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK) and RAG (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP and platforms like Azure ML, Vertex AI, Databricks.

The Role

Who You Are
Essential Qualifications
+ 7+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale AI or ML architectures in complex enterprise environments.
+ Proven experience building and governing end‑to‑end AI systems , including production deployment.
+ Deep knowledge of AI and ML architectures , cloud-native solutions , and/or distributed systems .
+ Familiarity with multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK) and RAG architectures (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
+ Knowledge in at least one major cloud provider ( Azure, AWS, GCP ) and associated AI platforms (e.g., Azure ML , Vertex AI , OpenShift AI , Databricks ).
+ Solid understanding of MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
+ Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to drive architectural direction and influence cross-functional technical teams.
Education & Certifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical field.
Preferred Skills
+ Exposure to edge AI or on-premise AI deployments in regulated industries.
+ Strong presentation and storytelling skills to articulate architectural visions to both technical and executive audiences.
+ Advanced studies (Master's or PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud Architecture are highly valued.
+ Professional certifications in cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and MLOps frameworks are a strong plus.
+ Continuous learning mindset with proven commitment to staying current on emerging AI and Agentic AI technologies.
