Formación

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in agriculture or rural development.
• At least 3 years supporting strategies at the decentralized government level.
• Experience in technical assistance projects related to EU agriculture policies.

Senior Agriculture and Rural Development Expert

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU-funded project : Support to align Ukrainian legislation, policies and institutions with EU acquis in agriculture and rural development (IPRSA III). We are seeking experts to support the core team during this project's implementation.

The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to a resilient, inclusive, sustainable, and competitive growth-oriented agricultural sector that ensures fair rural incomes, investment capacities, and environmental respect.

Duration : The intended start date is no later than 1 September 2025, with a contract period of 40 months from this date.

Key Expert : Senior ARD Expert

Qualifications and Skills :

• At least a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in agriculture, agricultural economics, or a related discipline, or a bachelor's degree plus four years of relevant experience; or eight years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Advanced English skills at least at C1 level in understanding, speaking, and writing. Skills in Ukrainian or Russian at B2 are assets.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to policy, development programs, legislation, institutional reform, or sectoral support in agriculture or rural development.
• At least 3 years of experience at the decentralized government level supporting strategies, programs, or policies in agriculture or rural sectors.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting agricultural extension / advisory systems, with FA / SDN or Geographical Indications (GIs) considered an asset.
• Recent experience (within the last ten years) in implementing technical assistance projects supporting EU acquis in agriculture, rural development, fisheries, or aquaculture sectors in EU candidate countries or EU Member States, each lasting at least 12 months, is an asset.
