You will lead multi-disciplinary interfaces across mechanical, thermal and electrical domains, pushing ultra-lightweight designs using composites, foams, films and additive manufacturing to deliver
A rare opportunity to shape the next generation of high-altitude aerospace platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace CAD Designer to take ownership of complex aircraft structures within an innovative aerospace engineering environment.
This is a hands-on senior role combining advanced CAD design, structural integration and technical leadership. You will lead the overall assembly of primary and secondary aircraft structures while providing day-to-day technical direction to a small team of 1–3 CAD Designers.
You’ll be joining a highly experienced engineering team developing an entirely new class of high-altitude, long-endurance aerospace platforms.
You will own CAD assemblies from concept through to detailed design, working closely with aerostructure designers, engineers and modelling specialists.
Your responsibilities will include:
We’re looking for someone with substantial aerospace CAD experience who is comfortable taking ownership of complex structural design.
You should have:
Experience with HAPS, HALE, UAVs or other lightweight aerospace platforms would be highly advantageous.
This isn't a conventional aerospace design position.
You’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of aerospace, advanced materials and high-altitude technology, with the freedom to develop genuinely lightweight and innovative structural solutions.
The organisation is building a new generation of persistent high-altitude platforms designed to provide continuous monitoring over areas where conventional systems can be limited.
You'll work alongside a team with experience across some of the world's most ambitious aerospace and high-altitude programmes.
The role is based at the company's flight development facilities in Teruel, Aragón, Spain.
