Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe is seeking a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer to shape external air vehicle geometries, develop CFD workflows, and influence flight performance for next‑generation aircraft. You will work in a highly collaborative, international Flight Physics team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, 5+ years of aerodynamics experience in military or civil programs, and strong Python/MATLAB/CAD proficiency.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on aerodynamics experience in military or civil aircraft contexts.
• Advanced English (C1) required as the global working language.
• Strong foundations in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, and flight mechanics.

Responsabilidades

• Shape external air vehicle geometries and build aerodynamic databases.
• Drive CFD campaigns and participate in wind tunnel testing.
• Perform safe separation analyses for stores and complex maneuvers.
• Develop and maintain aerodynamic methods and Python/MATLAB scripts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Flight Physics, Structures, and Flight Control.
• Ensure aerodynamic solutions meet TCQ across the aircraft life cycle.
