The figure, placed in the Financial Department reporting to the Accounting Responsible, will manage all the accounting functions .

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage all accounting functions within the company
• Manage all the month-end close and financial reporting, including Revenue, AP (+ageing), and GL
• Ensure month end and year-end closings are reliable and performed within required deadlines (IFRS and each Local accounting standards), with strict deadlines
• Coordination with external consultants for fiscal declarations and needs.
• Preparation of yearly Financial Statements
• Participate in the accounting reporting process
• Manage specific internal control environment cycles and managing internal control.
• Journal entries and accruals
• Intercompany control
• Assets and depreciation registration

PROFILE :

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar
• Experience at an international accounting department or Big Four or similar outsourcing department.
• Experience working for an international environment & cross-functional and networked organization and monthly reporting experience.
• Superior communication skills in English, both spoken and written, to effectively address and influence all levels within the organization. Portuguese or Italian will be consider a plus
• SAP knowledge
• Local Portugal rules and IFRS. ITA GAAP (desirable)
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
