Role & Purpose of the Position:
As a Global Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing accounting processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical advisor to global finance managers on accounting and reporting issues (accounting, finance, IFRS, tax, VAT, etc.).
- Train and support the global business services team and finance managers in accounting, IFRS, SAP, and quality standards.
- Assist the group accounting team by drafting and reviewing policies and reporting instructions, and resolving issues during monthly closings.
- Support the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all entities.
- Perform quality reviews of financial data before submission for consolidation.
- Coordinate global financial audits, including group and statutory audits.
- Oversee banking operations worldwide, liaise with group treasury, and manage bank access rights.
- Participate in global finance projects as project manager, coordinator, or contributor.
- Coordinate preparation and timely submission of regulatory reports.
- Act as a liaison between global business services and business/controlling units on reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Review and monitor internal controls globally, aiming to improve accounting and reporting quality.
- Support initiatives for accounting automation and process improvements globally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered accountant, CPA, or similar qualification.
- Over 4 years of experience in an international audit firm, particularly with clients in technology, software, or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with foreign jurisdictions and IFRS standards.
- Practical tax knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with SAP and OneStream is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex issues clearly.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
