A leading global reinsurance company seeks a Senior Accountant in Madrid. This role involves managing financial operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and experience in financial services.

If you have experience within Financial Operations, we are keen to find a Senior Accountant to join our team in Madrid.
Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will support all day-to-day non-technical operational activities within the finance remit, including vendor management, fixed assets, leases, payroll, AP & expense accounting, reconciliations, and various initiatives supporting our strategic ambitions such as geographic expansion and implementing a new general ledger. While based in Madrid, you will collaborate with teams across the organization and support and mentor junior colleagues.
What will you need?
You should be a professionally qualified accountant with proven analytical skills. Experience working at a strategic level and effective communication with business leaders is essential, along with a strong focus on data accuracy. As a senior team member, you will be expected to coach, mentor, and support less experienced colleagues.
Experience in either Financial or Professional Services is preferred.
