Formación

  • Mínimo 15 años de experiencia en contabilidad a nivel transaccional y de análisis.
  • Experiencia en liderazgo y gestión de un equipo de al menos 5 empleados.

Responsabilidades

  • Asistir al Vicepresidente de Contabilidad en la supervisión del personal y funciones contables.
  • Preparar análisis de ingresos y gastos mensuales y estados financieros.

Descripción del empleo

Remote position - based in Argentina. English level C1 required.

Experience : Max. 8 years, Min. 6 years.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Vice President of Accounting to supervise staff, provide oversight and/or participate in the following functions:
  • G/L postings, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities support.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and transactional review.
  • Monthly close: allocations, income tax accruals, and timely financial statement preparation.
  • Monthly revenue and expense analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial statement, loan covenants, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Organize the processing and analyze the financial statements, monthly reports, and cash flow reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain integrity of the GL accounting system, specifically the chart of accounts and subaccount list.
  • Correspond with banks and other agencies for issue resolution and responses to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Assist with preparation and responses for audits.
  • Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation.
  • Meet the contractual commitments to client(s) through timely and accurate reporting and issue resolution.
  • Assist in managing the financial staff results through coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and performance assessment.
  • Perform other job-related and management duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Make personal responsibility for actions. Lead by example, guiding the team to win/win solutions.
  • Acknowledge and help develop individual strengths of team members and support and encourage the utilization of strengths to foster business results.
  • Demonstrate excellence in work standards and be tenacious in completing tasks.
  • Able to effectively solve problems and make decisions based on the best information available, including resolving crisis situations and developing resolutions between parties.

Qualifications :

  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding and experience with accrual accounting.
  • Intermediate level of understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel, preferably with experience using pivot tables.
  • Communicates effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpret written information.
  • Ability to coach and develop the accounting team.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customer base and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with other internal and external departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Problem-solving skills are mandatory as well as the ability to manage resources to complete team goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, and E-mail. Sage Intacct & Prism HRP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with multi-company/divisional financials, budgeting, and job costing highly desirable.
  • Experience developing systems, policies, and procedures for an accounting/finance division.
  • Experience with external and internal auditing and compliance preferred.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Must have managed a department of at least 5 employees.
  • Must have documented leadership skills.
  • At least 15 years of experience in accounting at both a transactional & analysis level.
