Position: General Ledger Supervisor

You will be responsible for maintaining general ledger entries, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring ledger data accuracy under Sox and US GAAP environments. Working within a large organization, you will interact with diverse business partners from various departments and countries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn, implement best practices, and standardize common GL tasks. You will supervise a team of 2-3 members, guiding them to meet deadlines and goals. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger accounting, monthly reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support financial and tax reporting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, Balance Sheet reconciliation, IFRS reporting, consolidation, GST/VAT, and Corporate Tax returns.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with Shared Services and Finance teams on accounts payable, receivable, capital expenses, and other financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS through proper business processes and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, provide supporting documents, and address audit queries.
• Review policies, procedures, and internal controls; recommend process improvements.
• Test and implement new financial systems or tools.
• Support system enhancement projects and other ad hoc accounting activities.

Position Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in General Accounting.
• Team management experience, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is advantageous, with regional exposure preferred.
• Experience in Big 4 accounting firms is a plus.
• Familiarity with OneStream, revenue recognition, inventory management, SOX/internal controls, and ERP systems like Oracle & SAP is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills in English.
