The purpose of the Seller Success Manager role is to drive platform growth by increasing seller sales, extending the product assortment, and optimizing price competitiveness. This position ensures effective onboarding for sellers, reducing the complexity of creating products and offers, minimizing the time to go live, and implementing improvements to increase sales. The Seller Success Manager's efforts are crucial in maintaining a dynamic marketplace where sellers are well-supported and motivated to succeed, directly impacting platform performance and sustainability.

Job scope:

Each Seller Success Manager is responsible for one or more assigned countries and must communicate in the language of the assigned country. The focus is on growing products, offers, and sales on the platform, with a core emphasis on price competitiveness. The role supports the Business Partner Manager in communicating and managing seller integration connections across different countries, especially when language barriers exist. Core activities include:

  1. Managing the onboarding process of new sellers until they are live with their assortment.
  2. Conducting optimization calls and coaching sellers with customized strategic advice to improve sales through assortment, cross-border extension, and pricing strategies.
  3. Executing seller marketing activities.
  4. Collaborating on and coordinating cross-functional projects to improve efficiency.
  5. Training and development, including onboarding new team members, staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and training internal teams on processes for continuous improvement.
You've got
  • Bachelor’s degree or vocational training.
  • Experience in e-commerce and understanding of marketplace business models.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) and the ability to interpret data to inform actions.
  • Strong sales skills, including presentation, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship building.
  • Clear, precise, and professional communication skills.
  • Native or high proficiency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, or Italian is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital marketing.
