Freightos is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to guard trust across our global platform. You will shape the cybersecurity vision, drive governance, risk management, and security engineering to protect data, applications, and cloud environments while enabling innovation and growth.

You will advise the CEO and Board, lead incident response and disaster recovery, oversee third-party risk, and mentor a high‑performing security team across SRE, IT, R&D and compliance in a hybrid Barcelona

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a cybersecurity/IT field.
• 10+ years in information security or cybersecurity.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing security teams and programs.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, COBIT).
• Experience presenting security strategy to executives and Boards.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS & Google Cloud).
• Experience with security operations, governance, and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and run Freightos' enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and governance.
• Lead information security program to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets.
• Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks and mitigate business/tech risks.
• Oversee security operations: threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, remediation.
• Direct incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Establish security architecture across cloud, network, endpoint, app, and data.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and standards; support audits.
• Develop security policies and awareness programs; promote a security culture.
