  • Deliver seamless travel with border control applications
  • Offer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing
  • Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention, including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services

We are looking for a Security Site Manager within Thales CDI located in Madrid.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred: Experience or certifications aligned with a CISO profile (CISSP, CISA, CISM)
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Technical experience:

  • Proven ability to develop and deploy Crisis Management Plans in international organizations.
  • In-depth understanding of Security Management principles and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) standards.
  • A strong grasp of local, national, and international security regulations, including:
    • ISO 27001 implementation.
    • ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) frameworks.
  • Experience conducting audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
  • Solid knowledge of IT Security concepts, including:
    • Cybersecurity principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention).
    • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, etc.).
    • Threat analysis and remediation processes.
  • Familiarity with physical security measures and integration with IT security.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their application to secure software development.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining security awareness programs for employees.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations.
  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and mentor team members to achieve their best potential.
  • Management skills with experience delivering security initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build consensus for security strategies.
  • Track record of handling high-pressure situations with composure and effective decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, IT security, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.
