SOC Analyst

Location: Malaga, Spain

Type: Permanent

Salary: €39,000 - €44,000 per annum

Background

We are partnered with an innovative IT solutions provider based in Spain, working with clients globally. Following a recent promotion, they are seeking a new SOC Analyst to join their team of 6 Analysts.

Reporting to the SOC Team Leader, you will be part of a team of Information Security Specialists, handling incidents and enhancing security tools. Your role will involve delivering reactive and proactive Security Operations services to reduce business risks, utilizing IDS, SIEM, EDR, and other cybersecurity tools. You will also perform analysis during incident response activities to improve security operations and protect the business from future attacks.

Schedule

This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rotation and involves being on-call approximately 1 week every 8 weeks.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a SOC Analyst
• Technical knowledge of SIEM and SOAR technologies, Web Application Firewalls, EDR/XDR
• Understanding of IDS, SIEM, anti-malware, network traffic analysis, and networking principles
• Experience in incident response
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
