About the job

As our first dedicated Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the security of our platform. You will join a tech team with a great environment and high standards, aiming to elevate our security practices. You will nurture a robust internal security community, evolve our bug bounty program, set security standards for our production pipeline, and define security measures for our GenAI features.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Finding and fixing code vulnerabilities
2. Testing and improving security in our AI pipelines
3. Supporting other engineers in secure coding practices
4. Leading and mentoring our Security functional group
5. Managing our bug bounty program

About you

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of software architecture and security, including compliance and regulations. Experience in back-end development, preferably in Java / Kotlin within a product company, is important. You should have extensive knowledge of AWS-specific security measures and frameworks like OWASP. Certifications such as CSSLP or OSCP are a plus, as well as experience with Python and TypeScript. Strong communication skills and a helpful approach are essential for effective collaboration. You should be able to prioritize and advise on all things Security, internally at Stravito and for our customers.
