This department plays a crucial role in advancing AXA's technological landscape, driving innovation and optimizing data practices across the organization.

P URPOSE OF THE J OB

Drive innovation and excellence in security on software engineering within the Group Data, AI, and Innovation department. Enhance productivity and satisfaction of development teams by ensuring high levels of security and automation. Advocate for best practices and standards in software development, with a strategic view on developer experience and productivity. Foster engagement with diverse stakeholders to promote a shift-left culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities / Activities
  • Security advisory : Analyze and provide guidance to software development teams on security measures, ensuring adherence to secure software development lifecycle principles.
  • Automation of security processes : Implement automated security processes within the software development lifecycle to streamline operations and reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Software development : Develop and integrate robust software solutions using cloud technologies, AI, and security tools.
  • Stakeholder engagement : Actively engage with the AXA engineering and security communities, contributing to discussions and initiatives.
  • Governance and standards : Support the establishment of best practices and standards across software development processes, ensuring governance proficiency.
  • Open-source advocacy : Contribute to AXA's InnerSource and Open source projects, promoting open collaboration and innovation.
  • Developer advocate : Serve as a liaison for developers, focusing on improving developer experience and productivity through strategic initiatives.
Expected Skills & Experience

Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with a focus on security, secure software development, and DevOps practices.

  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Technical Skills
  • Solid knowledge of security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, React, and Next.js.
  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Proficiency in using and integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA. (e.g. Checkmarx, Qualys)
  • Familiarity with IAM tools, like Auth0 and Ping.
Behavioral Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French and Spanish are a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with multiple stakeholders in a large international organization.
  • Proactive approach with a strategic mindset, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Passion for IT, software development, and a desire to gain international experience.
