Role Overview :

The Director of Security Architecture and Engineering will shape and execute our enterprise-wide security strategy. The role involves leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security architecture and engineering practices, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

  • Security Architecture
  • Security Engineering
  • Identity and Access Management
Key Responsibilities :
  1. Security Architecture Leadership : Develop and maintain the company's security architecture framework aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
  2. Engineering Oversight : Lead a team of security engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls.
  3. Threat Intelligence : Monitor cyber threats and vulnerabilities, integrating insights into security strategies.
  4. Security Technology Roadmap : Manage security technology strategies and promote adoption of emerging security technologies.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration : Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align security initiatives with business strategies.
  6. Team Development : Recruit, train, and lead a cybersecurity team fostering continuous learning.
  7. Budget and Vendor Management : Oversee security budgets and vendor relationships.
Qualifications and Skills :
  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Proven leadership in security architecture and engineering roles.
  • Deep knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications such as SABSA, CISSP preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and make decisions.
