As the Director of Security Architecture and Engineering, you will shape and execute our enterprise security strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of our security architecture and engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

  • Identity and Access Management

What you will do :

  • Security Architecture Leadership - Develop and maintain the company's security architecture framework, aligning with business goals and industry standards.
  • Engineering Oversight - Lead a team of security engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls.
  • Threat Intelligence - Monitor cyber threats and vulnerabilities, integrating threat intelligence into security strategies.
  • Security Technology Roadmap - Establish and manage the security technology roadmap, promoting adoption of emerging security technologies.
  • Collaboration and Communication - Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align security initiatives with business strategies.
  • Team Development and Management - Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering continuous learning.
  • Budget Management - Oversee security budgets, resource allocation, and procurement.
  • Vendor Management - Manage security-related vendor relationships and contracts.

What we’re looking for :

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Proven leadership in security architecture and engineering roles.
  • Deep knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Certifications like SABSA, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to assess complex security situations and make informed decisions.
