Symrise AG is seeking an experienced seasoning developer to lead end-to-end development for a key snack customer. You will own concept creation through industrial production support, ensuring strong technical performance and high customer satisfaction.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct customer interaction to deliver projects on time and in line with regulatory constraints.

Formación

• Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• 5–9 years of experience in seasoning, savory or flavor development.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong collaboration and scale-up skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of seasoning solutions tailored to customer portfolios.
• Create, optimize, and adapt formulations based on targets and regulatory needs.
• Ensure application performance in finished products (taste, stability, process).
• Evaluate formulations through lab work, pilot trials, and industrial validation.
• Support scale-up and production trials, internally and at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as technical contact for the customer on projects and innovations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales and Supply Chain.
• Deliver projects on time and fully documented, aligned with processes.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and environmental standards compliance.

Your Role

We're looking for an experienced seasoning developer to lead and support development activities for a key strategic snack customer. You will own the full lifecycle of seasoning solutions, from concept creation to industrial production support, ensuring strong technical performance and high customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on role with real impact, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct customer interaction.

• Lead the development of seasoning solutions tailored to customer product portfolios
• Create, optimize, and adapt formulations based on performance targets, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure excellent application performance in finished products, including taste, stability, and process behavior
• Evaluate formulations through lab work, pilot trials, and industrial validation
• Support scale-up and production trials, both internally and at customer sites
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions when needed
• Act as a key technical contact for the customer on ongoing projects and innovation initiatives
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Deliver projects on time, fully documented, and aligned with internal processes and customer constraints
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards

About You

• Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
• 5-9 years of experience in seasoning, savory, or flavor development (ideally in snacks or savory foods)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both required)
• Strong understanding of seasoning functionality in industrial food production
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing trials and scale-up
• Solid knowledge of ingredients, processing technologies, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to translate market trends into relevant product development
• Experience managing cost optimization, raw material selection, and margin targets
• Confident in customer-facing situations, able to clarify needs and present solutions
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
