Formación

• 14 años de experiencia en la industria ICT con enfoque en entrega de servicios y pre-venta.
• Conocimientos profundos en soluciones de RAN y diseño de red para 2G a 5G.

Our Exciting Opportunity!
Based within the Service Area Network Design and Optimization (SA NDO), Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service organisation with teams located in multiple locations. You will be working with ground-breaking solutions and technology (e.g. 5G, RAN Virtualisation, ML/AI, Critical IoT, VoLTE/NR, Network Slicing and vDU / vCU Connectivity). You can expect challenging projects with many diverse global customers. In this role, you will be a specialist and recognised expert in the field of Network Design and Optimisation, where no two projects are the same. You are expected to contribute by working in an exciting and dynamic multicultural and global environment for Network Design and Optimisation Services. Activities will include both Pre and Post Sales engagements and involvement in enhancing and developing our Service Portfolio.

Role Responsibilities:

We are focused on high value-added services based on customer intimacy, end-2-end customer understanding and business and technology leadership. Activities within the role include:

1. Participation in presales and delivery of services in the area of Network Design and Optimisation (NDO) with focus towards RAN Transport and Connectivity
2. Providing Network Connectivity Solutions for the latest technologies available in the Radio Access Network (RAN) space taking End-2-End into consideration
3. Leading discussion and activities with our Global Customer Base (both Technical and C level Senior Management) by understanding their business needs and requirements
4. Developing and presenting Solutions that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations
5. Designing solutions that are scalable, robust and efficient whilst fulfilling operators’ technical and business requirements
6. Actively participating in knowledge transfer and experience sharing
7. Supporting product and delivery teams ensuring our solutions are developed and deployed to meet objectives
8. Providing innovative ideas and suggestions to Product Management to further improve/add/modify our NDO service portfolio and technology suite
9. Engaging business partners in understanding potential technologies capabilities
10. Managing customer expectations and fulfilment of customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost
11. Working to strict time schedules

This is a role for someone who has already achieved a level of excellence and is ready to move to a more leadership and business driven position in a global environment.

Competence Requirements:

1. Master (or Bachelor) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics or similar
2. Minimum of 14 years relevant experience in ICT Industry with experience in both service delivery and pre-sales
3. In-depth knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
1. RAN IP Transport (RAN IP Connectivity) for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G network scenarios including Design of Ericsson Baseband Equipment
2. E2E Quality of Service (QoS) Solutions and Design
3. IP Security (IPSec) Solutions and Designs in RAN Environment
4. IP MPLS, Ericsson Router 6000 Solutions and Designs
5. RAN Synchronisation Solutions and Designs
6. Front-Haul and Back-Haul Solutions and Designs
7. Network Sharing Solutions and Designs (MO-RAN / MO-CN)
8. End to End knowledge of services, covering RAN, Transport and Packet Core domains
4. Ability to understand customer business objectives and link them to improvements in Network Performance and End User Experience as well as communicate, present and influence the C-Level (CTO, CEO) by knowing the impact of any action/service to their business
5. Knowledge of Virtualisation Platforms (e.g. RedHat) and Container Orchestration Systems (e.g. Kubernetes) will be an added advantage
6. Experience from Microwave (Short-haul / Long-haul) and Optical (DWDM) Solutions will be an added advantage

Knowledge of Ericsson RAN, Router 6000, Transmission equipment, Transport / IP and Security Solutions including features and parameters as well as knowledge of third-party Router, Transmission and Security equipment would be an advantage.

Location & Travelling: Position is based in Spain. Ability to travel globally as per business priorities and requirements.
