Overview

Scrum Master 100% (f / m / d) – Madrid. Full time position. Posted Today. The Scrum Master facilitates the Scrum framework (SAFe), ensuring that the development team follows its principles and practices to deliver high-quality products efficiently. The role removes impediments, fosters collaboration, and promotes continuous improvement to enhance the team\'s overall performance and productivity, working closely with the Application Responsible (ARs) and technical leads of various apps.

Responsibilities

• Propose innovative solutions which are scalable and avoid adding operational or delivery risk.
• Lead system enhancements and defects analysis for projects.
• Communicate highly technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Extreme Programming.
• Prepare documentation on User Requirements Specification, Functional Specification, and User Guide. Coordinate with users, internal teams, and vendors on project management, SIT, User Training, UAT, and production releases.
• Expertise in Private Banking domain.
• Stakeholder management and requirements management to ensure clarity and impact analysis.
• Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD or DevOps.
• Ensure change logs are properly documented and escalated to Application Owners and IT Service Management.
• Collaborate with Development and Testing teams for requirement clarification, functional solutions, and data mapping.
• Client/Stakeholder Management (internal & external).
• Engage with finance, business change engineers, and project managers to drive IT delivery in a large matrix team.
• Analyze requirements, estimate efforts, plan timelines, and manage progress.
• Maintain awareness, involvement, and support from key stakeholders by building strong squads and maintaining robust project status communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive and review technical and architectural design; enforce architectural guidelines and challenge the status quo.
• Roll out activities planned with Product Owner and end users.
• Work with Product Owners on stakeholder management and user trainings.
• Demonstrate values and behaviours including integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing, management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, risk management, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, and drive stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Personal and Social: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing; self-driven, motivated, and adaptable to work independently or in a team; high-quality service standards and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities with stakeholders.
• Professional and Technical: Minimum around 10 years of IT delivery lead experience focused on Banking Domain with solid technical knowledge; experience designing solutions for Client Lifecycle management; experience with large, complex matrix teams; proven ability to lead requirements analysis and impact analysis for large projects; strong computer science foundation (algorithms, data structures, OOP); working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred).
