Science Teacher (Medical Leave, Possible Permanent)

SEK International School Ciudalcampo is looking to immediately hire an MYP Teacher for ESO.

Role

Inspire curiosity and foster critical thinking, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts through inquiry-based learning.

Develop students' understanding of the natural world and apply scientific principles to real-life situations.

Functions

• Designing lessons that align with the MYP science curriculum.
• Promoting inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, investigate, and experiment.
• Supporting the development of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Facilitating hands-on experiments and investigations.
• Fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring laboratory safety.

Requirements

• Graduate in Science
• Master in Secondary Education Teaching
• Experience as a science teacher, including biology or physics and chemistry at the secondary level.
• C2 level English
• Basic skills to use educational tools.
• Adaptability in implementing diverse teaching strategies.
• Motivated educator with a creative approach to promoting project-based learning and in-depth knowledge of quality IB development.
• Strong expertise in both pedagogy and subject matter.
• Effective classroom management skills.
