Job Title: Science and Skin Modelization Expert

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid)

Job Description: As a Science and Skin Modelization Expert, you will define and execute the in vitro modelization strategy, aligning with innovation needs and ensuring state-of-the-art methodologies to support research and product development. You will develop, optimize, and validate models to improve predictability and translational relevance in preclinical studies, ensuring product safety and efficacy.

The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain EMEAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement in vitro models to accelerate innovation, ensuring scientific robustness and product differentiation.
• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and other teams to incorporate in vitro insights into the product pipeline.
• Identify emerging technologies in in vitro/ex vivo modeling to drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate advanced models to enhance predictive accuracy of safety and efficacy assessments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Lead or support external collaborations with academic and industry partners.
• Serve as the key contact for ingredient selection based on scientific literature and product positioning.
• Manage external partnerships for skin cell culture models and tissue engineering approaches.
• Apply biomarker studies to substantiate claims and develop next-generation dermatological solutions.
• Translate scientific insights into compelling product narratives and claims.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 7-10 years' experience in cosmetic development with a background in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related fields.
• Experience managing projects and understanding of GLP standards.
• Deep knowledge of skin metabolism and tissue culture models.
• Proficiency in designing experiments using molecular, cellular, techniques, and skin biology applications.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience in scientific reporting and marketing support.
