Talan – Positive Innovation is seeking a skilled Java backend engineer to design and maintain microservices with Spring Boot, using Kafka for event-driven architecture, and collaborating in Agile teams. The role includes an on-call rotation and hands-on work across PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, with emphasis on code quality and automated testing.

Remote within Spain is supported, with a Smart Office Pack and opportunities for training, career development, and international projects.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years in a similar software development role.
• Minimum 4 years with Apache Kafka (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Java 8+.
• Experience building microservices with Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts.
• Experience with JPA.
• Experience with TDD and/or BDD testing methodologies.
• Software design knowledge and application of design principles.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or MongoDB.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices with Spring Boot.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions with Apache Kafka.
• Build scalable and resilient backend services.
• Apply functional programming to improve code quality.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and decisions.
• Create and execute automated tests with TDD/BDD.
