Job Description

We are seeking a passionate web developer with experience in open-source frameworks and a strong interest in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). If you are a tech enthusiast eager to take responsibility and share your expertise, Cognizant Netcentric could be your home for growth and development.

The role involves full project delivery, working closely with the project manager to ensure exceeding client expectations. Responsibilities include:

1. Defining solution architecture and interacting with client architects.
2. Writing and refining technical specifications, providing effort estimations.
3. Leading and reviewing the development team, including coaching and guidance.
4. Ensuring infrastructure requirements are respected and synchronized with the system engineer.
5. Meeting quality and performance standards, managing releases.
6. Developing critical system components and ensuring a reliable work environment (IDE setup, Maven, CICD, Docker, SonarQube).

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AEM.
• Experience leading technical and people management teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of Java, web projects, and RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React).
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven), version control (Git), testing, and task management tools (JIRA).
• Proactive mindset, enthusiasm, and openness to continuous improvement.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Knowledge of Java Content Repository API (Jackrabbit/CRX), OSGi, and Eclipse IDE.
