Modis International Ltd is seeking a SAP Test & Cutover Lead for a major SAP transformation programme with a hybrid onsite model (30-50% onsite). The role is based in Barcelona, with additional locations in Budapest or Warsaw, starting January 2027 for a 12-month duration.

You will oversee testing governance, cutover readiness, and go-live execution, coordinating SIT/UAT, defect management, and deployment activities across business and IT workstreams.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Test & Cutover Lead to oversee testing governance and cutover readiness across a major SAP transformation programme. The role will ensure deployment quality, business readiness, and successful go-live execution through effective planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Based on the programme's testing leadership model, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving testing strategy while coordinating all cutover activities across business and IT workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business transformation and deployment readiness activities
• Define and govern end-to-end testing and cutover strategies
• Align business stakeholders with deployment objectives and timelines
• Ensure business and technical pre-requisites are completed ahead of testing and go-live
• Prepare and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops where required
• Coordinate with technical consultants, programme teams, and deployment managers
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression testing and go-live validation activities
• Drive defect management and resolution processes
• Develop and execute integrated cutover plans
• Support go-live execution and hypercare activities
• Capture lessons learned and deployment best practices

Testing & Cutover Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, scope and governance model
• Manage testing schedules, resources and environments
• Coordinate business and IT testing teams
• Ensure quality standards and deployment readiness
• Lead cutover planning, rehearsals and execution
• Manage go-live command centre activities
• Monitor deployment risks and mitigation plans
• Provide regular status reporting to programme leadership
